The Pangao necklace is a traditional piece of jewelry, popular among both men and women of Ifugao Igorot upper class. It is often worn during special occasions or ceremonies. In its second generation, the necklace features an amber colored glass beads and red agate. Older versions of the necklace were made of translucent glass beads with layers of gold foil inserted within.
