Known by many names, the Uvong or Lingling-o is an ancient piece of our culture, typically in the shape of an open circle, originally meant to be worn as earrings. They are traditionally made of gold and are now commonly made of brass and sometimes silver. They carry cultural, spiritual, and ceremonial significance, representing abundance, good luck, and protection. It is also recognized as a symbol of ancestral and generational wealth and are respectfully passed down through family lines.
