This custom, three-stranded Kankanaey necklace reinterprets the traditional Baynges headpiece and necklace of the Southern Kankanaey people and combines classic styles with contemporary materials. Instead of using traditional carnelian agate, this specific adaptation features an intricate blend of glass beads and bone beads. The entire piece is carefully strung onto a durable leather cord and completed with thread weavings that secure the closure at the nape area.
